Description
An Edwardian occasional table constructed from solid quartersawn oak. The oval top displays prominent medullary ray figuring characteristic of the timber and features a simple rounded edge. The table is supported by four tapered legs, each accented with a turned collar detail at the top and terminating in an integral club foot.
Condition report:
The table exhibits surface wear throughout consistent with age and use. The top shows several areas of fading, light scratches, and minor surface staining. The finish on the legs is worn and uneven, particularly towards the feet. Structural integrity appears sound, though there are general scuffs and abrasions to the timber throughout.
