Description
This lot comprises a collection of approximately 45 enamel lapel, hat, and souvenir pins, presented with a small rectangular wooden storage box. The collection features a significant quantity of Austrian and Alpine travel souvenirs alongside various novelty and commemorative badges. The regional souvenir pins are constructed from silver-tone metal and polychrome enamel, with many featuring motifs of edelweiss flowers, mountain hats, chamois, and cable cars. Specific regional banners include MAYRHOFEN, ST. WOLFGANG, SALZBURG, MONDSEE, GMUNDEN, INNSBRUCK, and DACHSTEIN 3004m.
The collection also includes various novelty and commemorative pins: a commemorative poppy pin dated 2018; a shield-shaped pin bearing the old crest of Arsenal Football Club with the letters AFC; a small yellow and purple pin reading motor show; and a circular blue button badge with text for the GLASTONBURY CARNIVAL. Further decorative pins include a zebra, a penguin, a face in a moon with a shamrock, an airplane-shaped gold-tone pin, and a gold-tone heart-shaped pin. The accompanying plain wooden box features a functional metal hinge and latch.

Condition report:
The pins are in generally good condition, though some examples show minor surface tarnish to the metal and light wear to the enamel. One traditional hat pin retains its original decorative natural feather. The wooden box shows external scuffing and significant internal staining and discoloration from use. The metal hardware is functional.
