Lot 111:
Description
A contemporary group of five animalier figurines comprising various domestic and wild animals. The collection features a Labrador retriever bust with a detailed buckled collar, a seated bulldog, a recumbent pug, a seated hare, and a recumbent hare. The dog figures are finished with a dark, near-black patina showing subtle verdigris undertones, while the two hares are finished with a polished bronze finish. Each piece is executed with a highly textured surface to simulate fur and fine details. The figures are modelled in realistic postures, including a resting pug and an alert seated hare. There are no maker marks or signatures visible on the exterior surfaces.
Height (Labrador): 11.5 cm
Height (Seated Hare): 16.5 cm
Length (Recumbent Hare): 18 cm
Width (Group): 38 cm.
Condition report:
The figurines are in good overall condition with no visible losses to the finish (photo 1). There are no visible chips, cracks, or structural repairs to the bodies or bases (photos 2 and 3). Minor accumulation of surface dust is present in the recessed areas of the textured fur and collar details.
