Description
A contemporary Silver cocktail ring featuring a large oval cabochon moonstone. The gemstone displays a prominent blue adularescence across the surface and contains natural internal inclusions and stress lines. The stone is secured within a bezel rub-over setting, mounted on a plain, narrow band. An impressed rectangular mark on the interior of the band contains illegible characters.
Length of setting: 18 mm
Internal diameter: 18 mm.
Condition report:
The ring shows signs of light wear, including minor surface scratches and faint tarnishing to the metal. The band appears slightly out of round (photo 3). The moonstone is intact with no significant surface chips or cracks (photo 1 and 4).
