The lot comprises various cavalry figures with riders and horses mounted on die-cast metal bases, alongside two large bags containing a high volume of unpainted plastic soldiers in various poses and colours including green, grey, tan, and blue. The hand-painted cavalry figures depict historical soldiers, such as Napoleonic troops and Arab warriors. Several grey rectangular metal bases bear the embossed characters © BRITAINS LTD 1971, a stylised deetail logo within an oval, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The unpainted plastic figures are presented in two clear bags, representing multiple military eras and scales.
Height: 6.5 cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in played-with condition. There is significant paint wear, scuffing, and loss to the hand-painted surfaces of the cavalry figures (photo 1). Several horses are missing their riders and appear to be missing accessories or weapons (photo 1). The items show general signs of age and dust accumulation. One horse is detached from its die-cast metal base (photo 4). The plastic bags contain a large quantity of loose figures in various conditions.
