The figures are detailed with boxing gloves and trunks, with one athlete delivering a high kick to the other athlete’s midriff, set upon an integral elongated base. Also included is a resin male torso bust featuring pronounced muscular definition with the arms flexed and positioned behind the head. Both pieces are finished in a dark brown patinated bronze effect. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or labels on the exterior surfaces of either piece.
Combat group width: 12.7 cm
Torso base width: 10.2 cm
Torso shoulder width: 16.5 cm.
Condition report:
The combat sculpture shows minor surface marks and light dust accumulation (photo 2). The torso sculpture exhibits multiple white scuff marks and small chips to the finish on the upper right arm, right shoulder, and pectorals revealing a lighter-coloured interior substrate (photo 3). Small chips and finish wear are present along the lower edge of the torso base (photo 3).
