The box bears the printed text DINKY SUPERTOYS, TRADE MARK REGISTERED, 943, and LEYLAND OCTOPUS TANKER – ESSO, with a yellow burst at the top reading ANOTHER FINE DINKY SUPERTOY. The lot includes original tissue packing material and a clear plastic protective sleeve.

Condition report:
The vehicle is in excellent condition with a high gloss finish to the red paintwork and no visible chips or losses (photo 1). The white lettering and stripes on the tank sides are crisp and complete. The black metal ladder and walkway fittings are secure and undamaged. The red metal hubs and black tyres show no significant signs of wear. The original cardboard box is structurally sound with sharp corners, although there is minor age-related toning to the white areas of the card (photo 1).
