Description
A collection of vintage brass and metal collectibles featuring a rectangular blue and gold cigarette tin. The interior lid is decorated with gold lithography commemorating the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1953, and is marked W. D. & H. O. Wills Branch of The Imperial Tobacco Co. (of Great Britain & Ireland), Ltd. Cigarettes. Inside the tin are two brass figures of charging bulls. The group includes an equestrian-themed desktop thermometer with a black horse-head finial and a dial marked in Celsius and Fahrenheit, a brass squirrel figurine, and a miniature horse-drawn carriage. Also present are two circular framed silhouette pictures, one depicting a woman with a bundle and the other showing children, alongside a brass eagle mounted on a bell base, a brass horseshoe, a wide-bowled spoon, and a pulley fixture. A heart-shaped porcelain pendant features a transfer print of The Roman Baths. The ruler shows the tin measures approximately 15 cm in width and the thermometer stands at approximately 12 cm in height.
Width: 15 cm
Height: 12 cm.
Condition report:
The brass items exhibit visible tarnishing and surface patina throughout, notably on the squirrel and eagle figurines. The cigarette tin shows surface wear, scratches, and minor paint loss to the exterior edges, though the interior lithography remains bright. The thermometer face is clear, but the metal housing displays surface oxidation. The silhouette pictures and porcelain pendant appear intact with no visible chips or cracks.
