Description
A vintage collection of men’s dress accessories comprising two pairs of cufflinks and two tie tacks, each housed in a fitted presentation case. The collection includes a pair of hexagonal gold coloured cufflinks with engine-turned sunburst centres and diamond-cut borders, fitted with chain and bar connectors. A pair of rectangular silver cufflinks features polished black onyx inserts with swivel-back fastenings, housed in a case bearing a label reading WEST GERMANY. A gold tie tack is set with an oval tiger’s eye cabochon, fitted with a safety chain and T-bar attachment. An additional gold tie tack features an oval setting with a central starburst-set clear stone, secured by a safety chain and bar, presented in a box with the interior lid marked H. SAMUEL.
Condition report:
All pieces show minor surface wear and light tarnishing consistent with age and use. The presentation boxes show minor external scuffing, and the H. Samuel box interior displays light discolouration to the satin lining (photo 5). Fastenings and chains remain intact and functional throughout.
