Description
A trio of vintage leather martingales featuring various brass motifs on teardrop-shaped black leather backings. Each piece is decorated with a central relief-cast brass horse head in profile and a five-pointed brass star. Two of the martingales are further embellished with a pair of shield-shaped brass mounts, while the third features a pair of club-shaped brass mounts. The leather straps are secured with white metal buckles and include leather loops for attachment. The reverse side of each piece reveals the brass mounting pins bent over the leather surface and a single brass rivet securing the buckle loop. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
