Description
A collection of assorted costume jewellery brooches featuring various figurative, floral, and novelty motifs. The group includes a large articulated peacock brooch decorated with black and white enamel and set with pavé-set clear rhinestones. Two poppy brooches are present: a single-bloom brooch and a larger double-bloom spray, both finished with red and black rhinestones. A curved fish brooch is decorated with green and red enamel with gold-tone accents. Floral designs include a large dark purple enamel flower with a central cluster of purple stones, a turquoise-coloured floral cluster, and several gold-tone floral sprays. Novelty items comprise a broom, a bow with a faux pearl, and two joined open hearts. The collection also features a silver sprig or feather design set with clear rhinestones and a circular wreath brooch set with blue stones. The items are constructed from gold-tone and silver-tone base metals. No maker marks are visible on the front surfaces.
