Description
A duo of antique walking sticks comprising an Irish blackthorn shillelagh style cane and a natural wood cane with a horn handle. The blackthorn stick is crafted from a single piece of dark wood with a characteristic knobby shaft featuring prominent natural thorns and a black lacquered finish. It is topped with a polished brown root knob handle and terminates in a heavy-duty black rubber ferrule. The second stick features a curved handle made from natural horn, showing tonal variations from dark brown to translucent honey. This handle is joined to the tapering light brown wood shaft by a Silver collar decorated with embossed foliate and scalloped patterns. The wooden shaft includes occasional natural knots and is fitted with a simple metal ferrule at the tip.
