Description
A collection of vintage sewing and embroidery accessories, notably featuring three Greist mechanical buttonhole attachments. One black-cased Greist attachment includes five interchangeable metal templates and a silver adhesive label printed with the script Greist in red. Two further Greist units are finished in light blue, one presented in its original cardboard box with white script lettering and the side markings W 6 · 4 · 2 · N. The lot also includes a Kay’s Practical Embroiderer attachment with its accompanying instruction booklet, marked with Patent No. 460488. A wooden embroidery hoop is provided alongside a wooden storage box containing two silver thimbles with decorative bands, a pair of silver embroidery scissors with ornate filigree handles, a metal rug needle, and several bundles of wool embroidery yarn in various colourways including green, cream, and rust. A brown leather pouch and several green flower-shaped templates complete the collection.
