Description
A white-finished Terracotta bust of a female figure, executed in the Neoclassical style. The subject is depicted with idealised facial features, her head tilted slightly forward and down, with hair styled in a textured, wavy bun. The bust is mounted on an integral turned circular base, which sits atop a square, black-painted wooden plinth. No signatures, maker’s marks, or edition numbers are visible on the base or body of the item. The piece is a cast sculpture with a matte white surface treatment.
Condition report:
The item is in fair condition. There are minor surface scuffs visible on the white finish and a notable dark smudge on the reverse of the hair. No significant chips or cracks are apparent from the provided views.
