Description
A vintage Rotary automatic wristwatch featuring a circular silvered sunburst dial with applied gold-tone baton hour markers and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is signed Rotary with the winged logo and further inscribed Automatic, 21 Jewels, Incabloc, and Swiss Made. The timepiece is housed in a gold-tone metal case and is fitted with a brown leather strap and a gold-tone pin buckle. The watch is accompanied by a Rotary-branded presentation box with a green fabric lining.
Case size: Approximately 34mm (excluding crown).
Condition report:
The dial remains in good original condition with minor surface dust. The hands and baton markers exhibit light oxidation consistent with age. The acrylic crystal shows several fine surface scratches and scuffs across the centre. The gold-tone case displays moderate wear with thinning of the plating on the lugs and edges, alongside light surface scratches throughout. The leather strap is heavily worn with significant creasing and cracking; replacement is recommended for regular use. The presentation box is in fair condition with external wear and minor fraying to the interior fabric. The movement has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy or power reserve; as with all vintage timepieces, a professional service is recommended.
