Description
A collection of cast brass decorative items and figurines dating from the 20th century. The group includes various naturalistic animal forms, comprising a pig figurine, a representation of the Three Wise Monkeys, a long-necked bird or flamingo on a circular integral base, a frog figurine, and three graduated mouse figurines. The lot also contains a decorative pierced brass trivet featuring a repeating heart and scrollwork pattern. Additionally, there is a vintage corkscrew featuring a cast brass handle with a Scottish thistle motif and twin out-turned supports, fitted with a steel worm. All items are primarily of cast construction. No maker marks, inscriptions, or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The items show a varied naturally aged patina with surface tarnish and light oxidation consistent with age and domestic use. No significant structural damage is visible.
