The group includes a variety of handheld magnifying glasses with chrome-plated, brass-toned, and composite handles. Notable items include a cased 4-in-1 versatile magnifier set featuring a textured gilt-metal handle and supplementary lens attachments, presented in a black case with a red-flocked interior and original cardboard packaging titled 4 in 1 A Versatile Magnifier. Also included is a boxed magnifying glass with a handle inset with two oval ceramic or enamel cartouches depicting historical world maps. Specialist optics feature a silver-toned illuminated handheld magnifier marked Osram and a black teardrop-shaped folding magnifier bearing a crown crest above the words Windsor Castle. The collection further contains various jeweller’s loupes, including a model in a red protective plastic case and a binocular-style loupe, alongside a pendant magnifier in a decorative gilt-scroll frame on a matching chain. A black flexible gooseneck magnifier base is present. Navigational aids consist of three magnetic compasses: a liquid-filled model on a yellow neck cord, a brass-cased pocket compass, and a compass encased in a square clear acrylic housing. Construction materials include brass, chrome-plated base metals, glass, and assorted plastics and composites. Several items are accompanied by their original presentation boxes or protective pouches.
