Description
A large-scale model of a Mississippi-style stern-wheel paddle steamer, identified by signage as The River Prince. The vessel is constructed from wood and composite materials, featuring a painted white hull and a multi-level superstructure. The decks are finished in a natural wood tone, accented by decorative white laser-cut railings. Technical details include twin tall black smokestacks and a prominent red-painted stern paddle wheel. The model includes a pilot house with glazed windows, interior cabin doors, and a stern gangplank with red carpeting. Signage includes Matthew V. Spress on the pilot house, The River Prince Company on the lower deck, and a banner at the stern reading Natchez to New Orleans 1870 1920. The model is presented on a two-part wooden cradle stand. Electrical wiring is visible protruding from the underside of the hull, intended for internal lighting or a motorised paddle wheel.

Condition report:
The model is in generally good condition with signs of display. There is minor misalignment to the masts and rigging. The paintwork and woodwork are largely intact. Electrical and mechanical functionality is untested.
