Description
This collection of jewellery includes an oval locket, a novelty brooch, and rings. The sterling silver oval locket features an engraved decorative border of foliate scrolls and patterns surrounding a central vacant oval cartouche. The pendant is suspended from a fine trace-link chain fitted with a barrel-style screw clasp. The novelty brooch is designed as an open peapod with a curled stem, set with five graduated round-cut clear faceted stones. The rings include a white metal three-stone dress ring with prong-set clear stones and a yellow metal band ring featuring a repeating pattern of vertical engraved lines around the exterior circumference. An illegible mark is present on the interior of the band ring.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition overall. The locket and chain show minor surface scratches and light tarnishing consistent with age. The peapod brooch displays surface wear and tarnishing, particularly within the recessed areas. The rings show typical light surface wear commensurate with use.
