Description
A wide band ring of composite design, featuring a central, polished, convex section flanked by two decorative borders of openwork scrolling filigree. The piece is crafted from white metal, with the recessed areas of the filigree patterns oxidised to provide visual contrast. A small rectangular mark is present on the interior of the band, though it is not clearly legible.
Condition report:
The ring exhibits signs of wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratches and scuffing to the central polished section. General tarnish is present across the metal surfaces.
