Description
This lot consists of two pieces of silver jewellery. The first item is a cluster dress ring featuring a central round-cut dark stone, possibly onyx, claw-set and surrounded by a halo of eight small round-cut colourless stones. The ring is constructed with a split-shoulder detail. A small rectangular stamp is visible on the inner shank, though the characters are not legible. The second item is a pendant necklace featuring a rectangular pendant with a central inset of iridescent mother-of-pearl bordered by a black material, possibly onyx or enamel, within a silver-toned frame. The pendant is suspended on a fine snake-link chain fitted with a lobster-claw clasp. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the pendant or chain.
Condition report:
The ring exhibits surface tarnish and minor wear consistent with age. The pendant and chain show light surface wear and are in good overall condition.
