Description
A diverse collection of vintage items comprising toys, travel souvenirs, and personal effects. The lot includes two vintage hand puppets with composition heads, one in the style of the Commedia dell’arte character Pulcinella with a black mask and white cotton robes. A group of vintage wooden maracas is present, featuring hand-painted tropical beach scenes and palm tree motifs on varying ground colours. Shaving accessories include a razor strop in a cardboard sleeve marked THE RAZOR-STROP FOR HOLLOW GROUND RAZORS and a rectangular whetstone. Personal items include a brass-cased pocket compass, a blue and black fabric camera bag marked PRAKTICA, a brown leather-effect case with miniature playing card motifs, and several small fabric pouches. Decorative pieces consist of a Khokhloma-style hand-painted wooden bowl, a wooden award plaque featuring a runner, a wooden box with a ruler inlay on the lid, and a white metal costume jewellery brooch set with clear stones. Also included are a metal straight edge and a yellow film canister.

Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition with signs of age and previous use throughout. There is visible paint loss and surface wear to the maracas. The fabric bodies of the puppets are discoloured and frayed. Metal components show surface oxidation and patina. Cases and cardboard packaging show typical wear, scuffing, and edge damage.
