Description
A professional jewellery-making tool kit identified as a Deluxe Ring Setters Clamp, model number RI-149. The set is designed for the secure internal holding of rings during stone setting and finishing operations. The kit includes a hand-held tool featuring a contoured, polished wooden handle and a black-finished steel head assembly. Accompanying the tool are ten interchangeable expanding collets of various sizes made of black nylon or composite material, a knurled steel adjustment knob, and a hex key. The entire set is housed in its original light-coloured wooden storage box, constructed with finger-jointed corners and a metal latch.
Inscriptions:
The exterior lid is printed with a stylized D logo containing a diamond icon, followed by the text Deluxe Ring Setters Clamp, RI-149, and PATENT PENDING. The interior lid features a printed diagram with component labels, including TAPER PIN, COLLET, RING TO SET, WOODEN HANDLE, KNOB, ALEN BOLT [sic], and ALEN KEY [sic]. The wooden insert tray identifies collet sizes in red ink with the notation U.S. / M.M. indicating sizing in United States and metric measurements.

Condition report:
The set appears to be in very good, used condition. The wooden tool handle and steel components exhibit minimal signs of wear. All primary components, including the ten collets and adjustment tools, are present. The wooden storage box is structurally sound with minor surface scuffs and wear consistent with age and workshop use.
