Description
A large collection of collectible football memorabilia featuring numerous miniature figures primarily produced by Corinthian from the Headliners and ProStars ranges. The collection includes a significant number of figures representing the Manchester United and England National Team squads from the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s. Recognisable managers and players include Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsène Wenger, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Jaap Stam, Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The circular bases are variously marked with names such as BECKHAM, STAM, and FERGUSON, alongside copyright marks including © CORINTHIAN and © MU Ltd 1996. The set is accompanied by a green fabric pitch mat bearing a partial Subbuteo brand logo, two white plastic goals with mesh netting, and a miniature black and white football. Storage items included are a vintage blue decorative tin with classical imagery, marked internally Made in England and Huntley & Palmers Ltd Reading, and a white plastic storage bin.
Goal width: Approximately 4 to 5 inches.
Condition report:
The items are in used, play-worn condition. One of the white goal nets shows significant yellowing and discolouration. The green fabric pitch mat is creased from storage. The miniature figures generally appear intact but exhibit minor surface wear and some paint rubbing consistent with age and use.
