Description
A collection of Edwardian turned ebony dressing table and grooming accessories presented on a rectangular tray. The assortment includes a hand mirror, a soft-bristle hairbrush, a pair of candlesticks, several lidded jars and canisters of varying forms, and various grooming tools including nail implements and a buffer. The pieces are crafted from ebony with decorative turned detailing. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of light surface wear and minor abrasions consistent with its age and intended use. Surface dust is present throughout. The brush bristles are intact but show some discolouration. The set appears free from major chips or repairs.
