Lot 190:
Description
A pair of clear lead crystal candlesticks, attributed to the Marquis by Waterford Corinth pattern. Each piece features a wide, flared trumpet-shaped nozzle decorated with deep vertical fluted ribbing. This fluting tapers down to a narrow waist before expanding into a broad circular foot. The base is finished with matching radial fluting and a serrated, scalloped rim, designed to enhance light refraction. The glass displays high clarity and significant brilliance. No maker’s marks, etched signatures, or labels are visible on either piece.
Condition report:
The candlesticks appear to be in good overall condition. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are apparent on the rims or bases from visual inspection. The crystal remains clear with no evidence of internal clouding or glass sickness.
