Description
A collection of vintage board games and gaming sets, including a branded multi-game compendium by Anne Carlton. The Anne Carlton set is presented in a blue faux leather briefcase-style case featuring a backgammon board on the interior lid. Components include a wooden cribbage board, a set of dominoes, playing cards, a dicing cup, poker dice, and gaming counters. The collection features a mahjong set in a black carry case with green-backed resin tiles and a pink instruction booklet for the Chinese Game of Four Winds. Included is a pair of folding wooden chess sets, both with alphanumeric borders and green felt-lined interiors; one set is stained in red and cream, the other in brown and cream, both with turned wooden pieces. A set of wooden draughts with concentric ring carvings is also present, housed in a wooden box with a sliding lid.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition. Cases show external scuffing and wear consistent with age. Minor surface marks are present on some wooden components. Completeness of all sets and components has not been verified.
