Description
An assortment of vintage toys, decorative items, and miscellaneous curiosities. The toy selection includes a plastic articulated male action figure in a yellow shirt and blue trousers, a die-cast Mickey Mouse figure seated in a blue car marked MM, a stylized wooden monkey with black faux-fur trim, a small tan plush teddy bear, and a green die-cast hatchback model car. Decorative and functional objects feature a Stratton of London black metal compact with gold-toned lettering, a large grey-toned cast metal casket with ornate floral scrollwork, a silver-toned engraved trinket box, a small metal box with a printed lid, and a white ceramic figure of a reclining angel. Framed items include a black-on-white silhouette depicting a carriage and a double oval silver-toned frame containing two black-and-white portrait photographs. Memorabilia and personal accessories include a brass-toned Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Brand belt buckle, various metal and enamel pins including Dublin and Tillenburg designs, a small terrestrial globe on a stand, and a small desk clock with Roman numerals. The lot also contains technical and utility items such as a long black metal optical rifle scope, a manual date stamp with a wooden handle, and an orange Coxlave survival whistle marked Tennessee. Additional items include a pocket compass, a magnifying glass on a stand, and various small metal lighters and cases.
Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition with visible signs of age and wear. Metal components show surface tarnish, oxidation, and light scratches throughout. The faux fur on the monkey figure and the plush on the teddy bear show thinning and handling wear. Mechanical and optical items, including the rifle scope, desk clock, and manual stamp, are untested for working order. Minor paint loss and surface abrasions are present on the die-cast and plastic figures. No original packaging is included.
