Description
A King size pack of vintage novelty playing cards featuring full-colour pin-up photography, dating from approximately the mid-20th century. The cards are printed via offset lithography on standard card stock. One visible card bears the printed header 54 MODELS COLOUR PLAYING CARDS, indicating the set was originally produced as a full deck where each card featured a unique model. The photography depicts nude female models in various studio and outdoor settings characteristic of 1950s and 1960s glamour aesthetics. Specific visible cards include a Nine of Hearts showing a model posed within a large decorative clam shell wearing a pearl necklace, a Three of Spades featuring a seated model reading, and a Joker card with pink typography. Other visible cards include the Ten of Clubs, Ten of Hearts, and King of Hearts.
Condition report:
The cards appear to be in good vintage condition. There is minor evidence of edge and corner wear consistent with age and handled use. The colour printing remains vibrant across the visible examples.
