Description
A polished cast metal desk ornament featuring the iconic Jaguar ‘leaper’ mascot in a forward-pouncing pose. The mascot has a bright, reflective chrome-plated finish and is mounted upon a rectangular black plinth. This form is characteristic of the car mascots found on mid-20th-century Jaguar motorcars, such as the Mark II and S-Type models. The piece is designed for display on a desk or shelf. No manufacturer marks or serial numbers are visible on the metal mascot or the base.

The ornament is in good overall condition. The metal mascot retains a bright and reflective finish with no significant signs of pitting, oxidation, or loss to the plating. The black plinth shows light surface scuffing, minor scratches, and a small amount of dust consistent with previous display.
