Description
This lot consists of an officer style peaked cap and an assortment of cloth formation signs and insignia. The headgear is a dark navy blue wool peaked cap with a black patent leather peak and a gold wire braided chin cord secured by two small buttons. The cap is fitted with a gold wire embroidered badge featuring outspread wings flanking a central circular device, typical of commercial airline or private aviation contractor issue rather than standard military service. The collection of cloth insignia includes two circular desert tan patches for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), bearing text in English and Pashto/Dari script used during operations in Afghanistan. Also included is an olive drab parachute qualification patch featuring a white embroidered parachute and wings. The assortment contains various British and Commonwealth formation signs, including two rectangular green patches with a white tiger passant associated with the 10th Indian Division, a black square patch with a gold embroidered arrow for the 1st British Corps, and a shield shaped patch featuring a sword and scales of justice. Other items include a Senior Scouts patch, a four lobed blue patch with the number 2, and several smaller unit flashes and rank badges.

Condition report:
The items are in good used condition. The peaked cap shows light surface dust and minor wear to the interior and peak consistent with age and storage. The cloth patches show varying degrees of wear; several have loose threads and fraying at the edges, indicating they have been removed from uniforms. One patch shows significant fraying and loss of the yellow border.
