Description
An assortment of decorative collectibles and metalware. The collection includes a Marcel Franck Paris perfume atomizer with a globular, vertically ribbed black body decorated with gilt stripes, featuring a gilt metal mount and original black fabric-covered bulb and tassel. Also included is an M. Hohner Blues Harp model harmonica, with the metal cover plate clearly stamped M. HOHNER and BLUES HARP, accompanied by its original blue plastic/vinyl snap-closure slipcase. The lot contains a decorative non-firing replica flintlock blunderbuss pistol featuring a dark-stained wooden stock, a flared cast white-metal barrel, an ornate decorative lock mechanism, and a scrolled trigger guard. Further items comprise a triangular brass dish with a scalloped rim, embossed with a central shield depicting two oxen and flanked by the letters H, J, and V; a cylindrical gilt metal ashtray featuring an ornate band of cast or repoussé foliate patterns and a removable top inset with cigarette rests; a cast white metal standing donkey figurine wearing a decorative geometric patterned saddle; and a rectangular white ceramic trinket box decorated with transfer-printed wildflower sprays and fitted with a polished chrome-style metal lid with a central circular knob handle.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good vintage condition. The wooden stock of the replica pistol shows some light surface scratches and scuffs consistent with handling. Metal surfaces across the various items show some minor expected tarnish and light wear consistent with age. Ceramic and glass components appear free of visible chips or cracks. All items are sold as decorative collectibles.
