Lot 194:
Description
An extensive assortment of primarily Central European military-style, commemorative, and organisational insignia. The lot features several leather-backed blazer badges, designed for hanging from a pocket, adorned with enameled metal heraldic shields. Observable motifs include a rampant lion on a red and white horizontally striped field, a blue shield with a vertical sword and silver-toned wing, and a yellow shield with a red rampant lion. One shield displays a golden hand and the number 25, likely denoting a long-service award.
The collection includes a translucent plastic compartmentalised box containing a large quantity of small enameled lapel pins and tie tacs, depicting regional flags, commemorative designs, and various organisational logos.
Loose items comprise a circular white-metal medal depicting a downhill skier, a circular medal with a profile bust, and various pins attached to red, white, and blue tricolour ribbons. A circular cloth patch depicting a bird of prey is present. Also included are several small rectangular metal bars stamped with numbers such as 04, 08, and 20, and the characters IMHH.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good vintage condition. There is minor surface oxidation, age-related toning, and light wear to the leather and fabric components consistent with age and use. The plastic storage box is a modern utility item.
