Description
A vintage single strand necklace of graduated cultured pearls by Lotus, presented in its original branded octagonal case. The pearls graduate in size from the terminals towards the centre and exhibit a creamy-white body colour with subtle pinkish overtones. The necklace is secured by a white metal box clasp featuring an openwork filigree top inset with a single seed pearl. The interior lid of the case is marked with the Lotus Classic brand name.
Length: Approximately 43 cm.
Condition report:
The pearls appear in good condition with an even lustre. There is significant green verdigris staining on the stringing near the clasp. The original case shows external wear and the interior yellow foam lining is degraded and discoloured. The clasp is functional.
