Description
A set of professional-grade drafting and engineering instruments presented in two separate fitted cases. The collection is constructed from polished silver-tone metal, such as nickel silver or chrome-plated brass, with several pieces featuring black composite handles. The set includes a wide variety of compasses, dividers, ruling pens, extension bars, and specialised attachments. Of particular note is a precision ruling pen in the red-lined case featuring a calibrated adjustment dial numbered 0-9. The interior of the black velvet-lined lid bears the gold-stamped script mark Rugli. The red velvet-lined tray is gold-stamped with a stylised monogram consisting of the intertwined letters R and P.
Condition report:
The instruments appear to be in good aesthetic condition with well-preserved finishes. Both cases contain several vacant slots, indicating that some original components or accessories are missing from the set. The mechanical functionality of the individual tools has not been tested. The cases show external wear consistent with age and professional use.
