Description
A wall mirror featuring an ornate cast brass frame in the Rococo revival style. The frame is decorated with elaborate C-scrolls, acanthus foliage, and a prominent scallop shell motif at the crest. Three relief-cast putti are positioned around the frame, with one at the base and one on each side. The mirror is suspended from a brass link chain connected to a decorative foliate-shaped hanging bracket. The reverse of the mirror is finished with a blue velvet-style protective backing. There are no maker marks or stamps visible on the exterior or reverse of the piece.

Frame height: 14 inches (35.5 cm)
Width: 9.5 inches (24 cm).
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. The cast brass frame shows light surface patina and minor oxidation consistent with age. The mirror plate is clear and free of significant silvering loss or foxing. The blue fabric backing shows light wear and dust accumulation.
