Description
An assortment of vintage pocket lighters featuring various ignition mechanisms and decorative finishes. The collection includes a gold-toned slim-line lighter with a diamond-cut geometric pattern, presented in a black Champ branded box with a red lining. A black-bodied butane lighter with gold-toned trim and two silver-toned circular motifs is housed in a red box marked Musical Butane Gas Lighter, attributed to Royal. Included is a copper-toned flip-top lighter decorated with an embossed eagle above a Harley-Davidson bar-and-shield logo and a banner inscribed EAGLE DOUBLE FLAME. The group also contains a slim rectangular lighter with a wood-grain effect finish, a gold-toned block-style lighter featuring a blue hexagonal emblem, and a brass lift-arm lighter with engraved decorative scrollwork and a detached snuffer cap.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. Visible surface scratches, pitting, and tarnish are present across several pieces. The brass lift-arm lighter exhibits heavy oxidation and the snuffer cap is detached. The presentation boxes show external scuffing and wear to the interior fabric linings. All lighters are sold as found; mechanisms and fuel systems remain untested.
