Description
A vintage personal traveler’s picnic or campaign set of German origin, likely dating to the early-to-mid 20th century. The set comprises three folding utensils: two single-blade pocket knives and one four-tine folding fork. Each implement is constructed with cream-coloured handles, likely bone, secured with metal pins and finished with polished metal bolsters. One knife blade features a tang stamp reading GERMANY in capital letters. The set includes a clear glass tumbler with vertical fluted decoration. All components are housed in a bespoke cylindrical brown leather carrying case with a top-opening lid and snap-button closure. The interior of the case contains a fitted leather insert designed to hold the cutlery pieces vertically alongside the glass.

Condition report:
The leather case shows significant signs of age and wear, including heavy scuffing, loss of surface finish, and overall degradation to the exterior, although the strap and fastening remain functional. The cutlery handles are intact without visible cracks. Metal components exhibit light surface oxidation and minor pitting consistent with age. The glass tumbler is in good condition with no apparent chips or cracks.
