Description
A trio of traditional five-way jointed teddy bears. The central and largest bear is an early 20th-century humpback style example featuring long, tapering, curved arms and a pointed muzzle. It is constructed from golden mohair plush over a firm wood wool stuffing and features amber glass eyes with remnants of black embroidered nose and mouth stitching. The bear positioned to the left is a medium-sized model in cream-coloured plush with mismatched glass eyes and black embroidered facial features. The bear to the right is a more slender example in tan mohair. No manufacturer labels, buttons, or marks are present on any of the items.

Condition report:
All three bears show extensive signs of age and heavy play-wear. There is significant mohair loss and thinning throughout the collection. The central bear has blue patterned fabric repairs to the foot pads. The cream-coloured bear has a hole in its right foot pad exposing the internal stuffing. The tan bear exhibits structural failure at the neck, causing the head to slump, and has heavy wear and thinning to the limbs and extremities.
