Description
A varied assortment of vintage items and curiosities. Tobacciana includes a rectangular red Benson and Hedges cigarette tin marked for British European Airways, a Doncella Coronets cigar tin, a Park Lane box, a chrome-finished petrol lighter, and a smoking pipe. Instruments and optical goods comprise a large handheld magnifying glass, a boxed round gauge, two vintage torches, a monocular, and a brass-framed hand mirror. The lot features several lead soldier figures, a figural bottle stopper, a red laughing Buddha figure, and a small wooden crucifix. Additional items include a pair of silver-plated and glass coasters with star-cut bases, a souvenir bell embossed with Knien zu Lübeck, a leather-cased circular travel flask with a brass top, a cast metal model of a paddle steamer boat, a commemorative medallion in a red presentation case, a small painted brass candlestick, and a large black document folder.
Condition report:
The collection is in varied vintage condition. Metal items exhibit varying degrees of surface patina and oxidation consistent with age. Cardboard and paper components show expected shelf wear, scuffing, and minor fading. Glass components appear largely intact without significant chips or cracks. All items are sold as-seen.
