Description
This assortment of vintage collectibles and ephemera includes several black and white photographic postcards depicting members of the British Royal Family, notably Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. The lot features two Europa 2-jewels travel clocks, one in a folding gold-toned case and another in a round black case. A blue lidded pot is marked Royal Worcester and features a white porcelain animal finial. A set of silver-toned filigree shot glasses is presented on a matching tray with blue inset cabochons. Metalwares include a mesh purse with an embossed frame, a brass anchor inscribed Jan van Gent., a Bichot multi-tool corkscrew, and a vintage metal and glass medical syringe. Decorative pieces include an enamel cloisonné owl figurine, several turtle figurines in various materials, a small brown glass apothecary bottle, and four amber-toned resin blocks containing feathers. Additional items include a compass, a magnifying glass, a black horse figurine, and a wooden folding ruler showing imperial measurements.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age and use throughout. Metal components exhibit tarnish and surface oxidisation. Postcards show minor edge wear and light foxing. Resin and wooden items have surface abrasions consistent with age. Mechanical components, including the clocks and medical syringe, are untested.
