Description
An assortment of smoking equipment and paraphernalia including several pipes and a wide variety of tools. The collection is highlighted by a long churchwarden-style pipe featuring a deeply rusticated bowl and polished wooden stem, housed in a red presentation box with yellow satin-effect lining. A wooden three-place pipe rack is included, containing two pipes: one straight-stemmed and one with a curved, rustic finish. Also present is a large bent-stem wooden pipe and another pipe with a curved horn or bone-style stem. The accessory group comprises multiple metal cigar cutters in guillotine, V-cut, and scissor styles, including a black guillotine cutter marked Habanos Unicos desde 1492. Further items include a boxed Doyer’s Cigar Holder set, a small tin of yellow-tipped matches, and a significant quantity of metal pipe maintenance tools such as tampers, reamers, and folding multi-tools. Construction materials include wood, various base metals, and plastic.
Condition report:
The items are in a mixed condition. Several pipes show clear evidence of use with carbon residue and charring visible in the bowls. The wooden surfaces of the pipes and rack show minor scuffs and surface wear. Metal accessories exhibit light surface oxidation, tarnishing, and scratches from use. Boxed items show moderate shelf wear to the external packaging.
