Description
A lot comprising two contemporary watch storage and display cases. The first is a substantial two-tier watch chest with a high-gloss burr wood effect veneer exterior, accented by black lacquered borders. The lid opens on polished metal hinges to reveal ten watch compartments, each fitted with a tan faux-suede cushion. The interior lid features an elasticated storage pouch. Below is a single pull-out drawer with a silver-tone knob, containing five additional deep rectangular compartments suitable for larger timepieces or accessories. The second is a compact, rectangular travel watch case with a black leatherette exterior and a zippered closure. The lid features a clear viewing window. The interior is lined with a contrasting forest green velvet and contains six compartments, each with a matching green velvet watch cushion. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on either item. Total capacity for 21 watches.
Condition report:
Generally good used condition. The larger burr wood effect chest shows light wear and minor marking to the interior lining consistent with use, though the exterior finish appears well-maintained. The black travel case shows minor signs of handling.
