Lot 9:
Description
A collection of polished stainless steel personal accessories by the Scottish manufacturer Grants of Dalvey. The group includes a large circular pocket flask, identified as the Original Sporran Flask, and two telescopic pocket cups. The flask features a central brass-toned oval plaque engraved with a twentieth-anniversary logo and the text FOREX COPENHAGEN. It is housed in its original black presentation box, which contains an informational card detailing the company’s history and its chairman, Sir Patrick Grant of Dalvey, Bt. The two circular pocket cups are also constructed from polished stainless steel with central brass-toned plaques. One cup bears the inscription THE DALVEY POCKET CUP and retains a tag dated 1988, while the other is marked DALVEY. These items are designed as high-quality personal accessories for outdoor and sporting use, featuring the brand’s characteristic mirror-polished finish and brass-toned fittings.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good condition. The stainless steel surfaces are bright and highly reflective, showing only minor superficial surface scratches and light pocket wear consistent with age and occasional use. The brass-toned plaques and fittings retain their colour well. The original presentation box is intact with some minor external shelf wear and scuffing.
