Description
A novelty table lamp designed in the form of a female corset or bodice. The piece features a cream-coloured damask-patterned fabric stretched over a wire frame, decorated with lace trim to the upper edge and a pink faux-feather trim around the base. The front is shaped with two bust cups highlighted by braided cream trim, while the reverse features a decorative ribbon lace-up detail. The lamp stands on four small pink plastic ball feet. The item is fitted with a black power cord, an inline on/off rocker switch, and a European-style two-pin plug. The interior contains a small screw-in bulb socket. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
Height: Approximately 25-30 cm.
Condition report:
The fabric shows signs of age-related wear, including some light staining and discoloration, particularly to the upper front section. The lace trim is slightly crushed. The faux-feather trim appears slightly thinned. Sold as a decorative object or collector\'s item only. It has not been tested for safety. It is recommended that it be inspected and PAT tested or rewired by a qualified electrician before use.
