Description
A pair of original bi-fold celebratory menus from The Ritz Restaurant, London, issued for the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday, 3rd June 2012. The covers are constructed from a pale gold textured card featuring an heraldic design by Alec Cobbe. This central motif depicts the Royal Arms within a diamond-shaped lattice border, flanked by the Union Flag and the Royal Standard, with the years 1952 and 2012 on scrolls, the EIIR monogram, and Diamond Jubilee in script at the base.
The interior features printed paper inserts detailing a four-course celebratory meal. Sections include Selection of Salads, Cold Dishes, Hot Dishes and Cheeses, and Desserts. Notable menu items include Watercress and Pomegranate Salad, Var Oak Smoked Salmon, Fillet of Beef Wellington, and Ritz Peach Conde. The back cover displays a printed credit stating: This Menu was especially designed by Alec Cobbe for The Ritz in Celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen in 2012. It also bears the Royal Warrant for HRH The Prince of Wales as suppliers of banqueting and catering services to The Ritz London.

Condition report:
The menus are in good overall condition with some light handling wear. There are minor surface scuffs and faint creases to the outer card covers, primarily along the edges. The interior paper inserts remain clean and crisp with no signs of foxing, staining, or ink loss.
