Description
This trio of mid-century soda syphons consists of the Hostmaster model produced by Sparklets Ltd. of London, England. Each vessel features a cylindrical, chrome-plated metal body with a tapered base, accented by two recessed horizontal bands. The collection includes two syphons with black plastic head assemblies and matching black bands, and one syphon with a red plastic head assembly and matching red bands. The lever-actuated heads and spouts are constructed from cast metal. Each syphon is stamped on the neck assembly with the manufacturer’s mark: SPARKLETS LTD LONDON MADE IN ENGLAND.
Height: approximately 31 cm.
Condition report:
The syphons are in good vintage condition. The chrome-plated surfaces retain a bright, reflective finish with some light surface scratches and minor scuffing consistent with age and domestic use. The plastic components appear intact without significant cracks or major damage. The items are sold as decorative collectibles and have not been tested for mechanical functionality.
