Description
A large pear-shaped cabochon labradorite pendant suspended from a flat mariner-link chain. The labradorite stone displays labradorescence in shades of blue and green across the surface, with natural internal inclusions and some surface-reaching fissures characteristic of the gemstone. The stone is set within a white metal bezel mount featuring a decorative scrolled openwork overlay at the lower right corner. The pendant is fitted with a broad, textured bail with a granulated finish. The reverse of the mount is partially open with two retaining prongs, exposing the natural matrix of the stone. The accompanying chain is of flat mariner-link (anchor link) construction. An illegible mark is present on the reverse loop of the bail.

Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with light surface wear and areas of tarnish to the metal consistent with age. The labradorite exhibits natural internal features as expected for the species.
