Description
A stylized sterling silver butterfly pendant featuring an openwork frame with scrolling decorative details along the outer wing edges. The wings and central body are set with multiple iridescent abalone shell panels, displaying variegated hues of green, blue, and purple. The pendant is fitted with a large, tapered silver bail. The reverse of the central body is stamped with the maker’s mark TLC above a 925 sterling silver purity mark. The top of the bail is also stamped 925. No chain is present.
Condition report:
The pendant is in good overall condition with some surface wear and light tarnishing consistent with use, particularly on the reverse. The shell inlays appear secure and intact with no visible chips or cracks.
