Description
A large-scale metal model of a 1931 John Deere GP (General Purpose) tractor. The piece is constructed from painted metal with heavy black rubber tyres. It is finished in the traditional John Deere green livery with yellow spoked wheel hubs. The model features a high level of detail, including a vertical exhaust stack, a steering wheel linked to the front axle mechanism, rear mudguards, a side-mounted flywheel, and a contoured seat painted in a brown tone. The sides of the bonnet feature yellow John Deere decals, and a black plaque mounted to the front axle reads 1931 GP JOHN DEERE.
Length: Approximately 12 to 14 inches.
Condition report:
The item is in played-with condition. There is significant paint loss, scuffing, and visible areas of surface oxidation and rust across the metal body, particularly on the bonnet, mudguards, and chassis. The rubber tyres show wear and surface cracking, with the front tyres appearing slightly misshapen.
